Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Post-Doctoral Scientist in the Technical Services/Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) organization in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on developing commercial processes (synthesis and purification) for biomolecules including proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in scientific disciplines (Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related).
• Demonstrated experience in protein, oligonucleotide, and peptide chemistry and/or purification.
• Must have publications/presentations in peer-reviewed venues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability of manufacturing systems in TS/MS.
• Design and execute experiments to advance process knowledge and optimization.
• Support technology transfer and scale-up activities as needed.
• Mentor lab associates and contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain GMP and regulatory compliance in processes.
