Ph.D. in forestry or closely related field is needed. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Remote sensing, modeling, forest inventory sampling techniques and statistics, sample experimental design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Visits to field sites in rough terrain to verify data quality and sampling schemes. Some overnight travel.
