GE Vernova Advanced Research in the United States is seeking a Post Doctoral Researcher to drive AI/ML research for energy applications, collaborating across GE Vernova’s businesses, government partners, and external researchers.
This role spans fundamental research to prototyping in areas like power generation, renewables, grids, robotics, and manufacturing, with opportunities to publish and file patents. Travel about 2 weeks per year; US work authorization required.

As a Post Doctoral Researcher in AI team, you will work with GE Vernova Advanced Research, GEV Business, and external customers to build and execute strategic research and development programs focused in AI and Machine Learning for energy ecosystem. You will design, develop, and apply innovative AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and foundation models, to tackle complex challenges in the energy sector. Your work will span the entire research spectrum, from fundamental theoretical and empirical investigations to prototyping and solution development. You will have the opportunity to define and work on diverse projects, including power generation, renewable energy, electric grids, robotics, and manufacturing, in collaboration with GE Vernova’s business units and a broad network of Researchers across disciplines and domains.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
