Essential Functions
- Conduct and/or analyze experiments in line with the overall research goals of the lab and funded projects.
- Prepare scientific reports and drafts of manuscripts (papers / grants).
- Help develop new techniques.
- Support training of new students or junior trainees in basic lab techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of PhD or Doctorate in Biological Sciences / Neuroscience.
- Experience in neurobiology or translational neuroscience setting and/or computational biology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and organization skills.
- Highest work ethic standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additionally, candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Self-learner and motivated
- Strong quantitative abilities
- Proven success working independently or as a member of a team
- Experience working with rodent animal models
- Experience with mammalian cell culture
- Goal-oriented and attention to details

- Typically bending, crouching, stooping
- Lifting demands ≤ 25lbs

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from 4,630.00 to 81,940 $ per year.
