Job Details
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research program to investigate the mechanisms underlying tumor heterogeneity and plasticity in melanoma with the goal of identifying novel treatment strategies for melanoma patients. Our research aims to identify and target pathway dependencies and vulnerabilities in drug-tolerant persister cells to prevent metastasis and improve treatment options. Additional interests include: i) characterizing alterations in the extracellular matrix during drug tolerance development, and ii) investigating therapies that modify the tumor immune microenvironment to enhance immunotherapy responses. Understanding these alterations could lead to new therapeutic approaches for melanoma. Our work spans from molecular mechanisms to clinical applications, utilizing molecular and cellular biology, 3D cell culture, flow cytometry, omics studies, and mouse models.
