The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at The University of Texas Arlington invites applications for a full-time Post Doctoral Research Associate position in Tracer Hydrology and/or Environmental Geochemistry.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting research leading to publications.
• Participating in the development and submission of research grant proposals in tracer hydrogeology, serpentinization, and natural hydrogen generation.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, or related fields.
• Strong publication record, conference participation, and proposal writing experience.
• Technical proficiency in isotope geochemistry, hydrogeology, numerical modeling, and scientific programming (Python or R).
• Field experience in groundwater/surface water sampling and laboratory expertise in isotope and geochemical analyses.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

Additional assets include experience with the Shimadzu Institute for Research Technologies and the Tracer Hydrology Group.
