Job summary

The Slater laboratory at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate to advance field deployments, time-lapse geophysical monitoring, data integration, and the development of predictive models and visualization tools.

A PhD in geophysics, hydrology, environmental engineering, or a related discipline is required, with experience in field methods or environmental data analysis.

Qualifications

• PhD in geophysics, hydrology, environmental engineering, or a related discipline with experience in field methods and/or environmental data analysis.
• Familiarity with Python-based workflows, AI/ML, or hydrogeophysical modeling is highly desirable.
• Experience with field deployments and data integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to field deployments, time-lapse geophysical monitoring, data integration, and development of predictive models and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with internal researchers and external partners on interdisciplinary projects.
