The role involves evaluating the economic viability and environmental footprints Of emerging thermal and chemical processes.**JOB DESCRIPTION****Key Responsibilities*** TEA & LCA Modeling: Build robust mass/energy balances, cash flow models, and LCA frameworks to quantiW economic performance and environmental impacts with parallel tech-tc-market analysis.* Data Integration: Translate experimental and thermodynamic data into commercial-scale projections and simulation workflows* Research & Dissemination: Author peer-reviewed journal publications, technical reports, and sponsor deliverables.* Mentorship: Collaborate with experimental researchers and assist in guiding graduate students**Qualifications:*** Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.* Demonstrated research experience in TEA and LCA within preference for bioenergy, biorefineries, or circular economy systems* Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus/HYSYS/gPROMS) and LCA databases (e.g., SimaPro, OpenLCA, Ecoinvent).* Preference for strong programming skills (e.g. Python) for data processing and computational modeling.* Strong publication record and demonstrated ability to present technical results clearly.**Application Materials:*** Please submit your CV, a cover letter detailing your research background, and contact information for references.**Compensation:**Salary: $60,000 per year.
