Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow to support evaluation and treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. The role involves diagnosing or evaluating behavioral, emotional and cognitive disorders through observation, interview, and standardized testing.

You will help design counseling, therapy and research programs, and assist clients in improving functioning across emotional, cognitive, social and interpersonal domains.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology (APA-accredited).
• Completion of an APA-approved psychology internship.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Applies theory relating to behavior and mental processes to formulate and administer programs of treatment that may include counseling, therapy and research.
• Helps clients work toward the maintenance and enhancement of physical, intellectual, emotional, social and interpersonal functioning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university and completion of an APA-approved psychology internship.
