Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	PhD in ecological sciences or related field. Excellent communication skills, experience in database construction, scientific writing, project management. Knowledge of renewable energy systems, economics, or policy preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Advanced knowledge of ecology, biodiversity policy, evidence synthesis, or simulation modeling.
Equipment Utilized	Advanced computing systems.
Physical Demands and Work Environment	Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.
Overview	Works independently to solve complex problems, develops novel techniques, publishes research. Collects and maintains data, provides analysis for publications and reports. Maintains research contacts nationally and internationally. Secures external funding, serves as technical contact for grants/contracts, coordinates research plans.
Statement	This is a grant-funded position renewable up to one year, contingent on funding and performance.
