Overview | 60% 1. Works independently and creatively to solve complex problems in a rapidly developing discipline. Develops novel evidence synthesis or simulation modelling analysis techniques, and publishes resulting research outputs in peer-reviewed scientific or policy journals. 20% 2. Collects and maintains data generated from independent research; provides analyses of collected data for peer-reviewed publications, granting agency annual reports, and use by collaborating organizations 10% 3. Maintains professional research contacts with other biodiversity and/or renewable energy research groups (US-based and international). 10% 4. In collaboration with PI, pursues external funding sources such as grants and contracts from state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations and industry. Serves as the primary point of technical contact for biodiversity and renewable energy grants/contracts with federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations and industry. This includes coordinating research plans, serving as biodiversity expert, and overseeing contract/grant processing. |
