Job summary

Plains Commerce Bank is seeking a Post Close specialist to manage the post-close process and facilitate mortgage loan sales to the secondary market, while assisting with regulatory reporting. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating post-closing activities, MERS transfers, investor condition clearances, and ongoing reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Training of Post Closing Associates.
• Coordinate intake of loans after closings.
• Coordinate MERS transfers.
• Coordinate delivery of loans to investors.
• Coordinate clearing of investor purchase conditions.
• Clear post-funding conditions (title policies, recorded mortgages, insurance documents, address/clear potential loan defects).
• Monitor loans Held for Sale balance.
• Resolve or escalated material deficiencies.
• Report material deficiencies to management, and coordinate refinances of unsellable loans.
• Supervise the work conduct of employees in the Post Close department.
