Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services in Orange, CA is seeking a Loss Mitigation Post Closing Coordinator I to handle receipt, monitoring, and delivery of modification collateral documents to FHA, VA, USDA, the Collateral Department and custodians. Compliance with HAMP, FHA, VA, USDA, and Ginnie Mae requirements is essential.

The role supports loan modifications, partial claims, Mortgage Recovery Advances, assists with title issues, and provides status reporting to the Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years mortgage experience preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel).
• Ability to follow oral/written instructions and apply information.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Basic arithmetic and data accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and assign modification documents to Post Closing Representatives.
• Monitor receipt and delivery of loan modification documents to agencies for recording and collateral requirements.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to track recording timelines.
• Ensure documents are properly executed and delivered to Collateral Department or custodian.
• Serve as witness to loan modification documents and assist with other duties as needed.
