Job summary

Signify, formerly Philips Lighting, is hiring a Post Cell Operator for Littlestown, PA. You will perform Post Prep and Post Pack duties, assist welders and painters, and operate blasting equipment, drill press and plasma cutting. Reading/writing in English and lifting up to 60 lbs are required.

Starting rate is $18.84 per hour. Schedule is 5am–3pm, Monday–Thursday, with overtime as needed in a union environment. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility with packing materials and shipments.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read/write and complete production documents in English.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs in production areas.
• Forklift experience highly preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform Post Prep and Post pack duties.
• Assist Welders and Painters as needed.
• Operate blasting equipment; drill press and plasma cutting.
• Read and interpret product codes and drawings or blueprints.
• Unload/Load flat bed shipments; Tow Motor License.
• Inspect and deliver receiving paperwork from tubing deliveries.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Post Cell Operator in Littlestown, PA, with Signify. (5am-3pm Monday to Thursday)

• Read and interpret product coding and drawings or blue prints
• Unload/Load flat bed shipments; Tow Motor License
• Inspect and deliver receiving paperwork from tubing deliveries

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility along with packing material and preparing for shipments
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and speak English; Ability to complete production documents in English
• Ability to physically move materials used in the production area with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Forklift experience highly preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
• Starting rate - $18.84
• Union Environment Hours 5am to 3pm Monday to Thursday (OT as needed)
