Job summary

Hanna Brophy is inviting 3L law students and recent graduates to begin in Fall 2027. After bar results, associates may be considered for full-time positions.

The firm offers health insurance and a 401(k) plan, plus extensive in-house training and CLE opportunities. As an Associate Attorney, you will handle depositions, attend WCAB appearances, communicate with clients, develop strategies for efficient resolutions, and manage all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation.

Qualifications

• 3L law students or recent graduates targeted.
• Willingness to pursue bar results and join firm thereafter.
• Interest or experience in workers’ compensation litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions and appearances at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
• Assume responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity.
• Communicate with clients and develop case strategies for efficient resolutions.
• Negotiate and settle cases-in-chief as well as liens.
• Draft pleadings and reports; handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation.

The Firm is looking for 3L Law Students and recent graduates to start in the Fall 2027. We are currently hiring across the firm. Once Bar Exam results are received, each Law Clerk will be considered for a full-time Associate Attorney position within the firm.
