Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license or applicable license/certification.
• Mandatory Reporter status.
• BLS certification.
• FIM experience.
• Valid Iowa driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing or rehabilitation experience.
• Strong language, math, and reasoning abilities.
• Proficient with Excel, Windows, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient screening to determine appropriate level of care.
• Completes reimbursement activities.
• Coordinates patient transfers.
• Develops and maintains communication with patients, families, and rehab team.
• Develops referral patterns to increase market share.
• Provides age-appropriate care for patients on assigned unit.
