Job summary

MedCap Health is seeking a Post-Acute Physician to oversee medical care in long-term skilled nursing facilities. The role offers flexible, full-time/part-time/flexible contract options with day hours, Monday–Friday and some weekend coverage as needed.

You will work within a physician-led organization focused on high-quality care, with malpractice coverage, credential support, training, and telemedicine support to cover overnight and weekend shifts. Career growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of multi-specialists and nurse practitioners in providing attentive, hospital-level care within skilled nursing facilities.
• Assist with complex cases and provide support across coverage needs as required.
