Job summary

MedCap Health is seeking a Post-Acute Physician to oversee medical care in long-term skilled nursing facilities with flexible contract options. The role offers day-time hours M-F with some weekends as needed and telemedicine support.

You’ll lead a team of multispecialists, deliver hospital-level care, and enjoy autonomy and schedule flexibility. Board-certified or eligible in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics, with leadership experience highly desired.

• Ability to oversee care in long-term skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of multi-specialists and nurse practitioners delivering hospital-level care in skilled nursing facilities.
• Manage patient care plans with autonomy and schedule flexibility.
• Coordinate with facilities across a network to ensure quality care and bedside mentoring.

You’ll play a pivotal part in patients’ health and happiness as you lead a team of multi-specialists and nurse practitioners in providing attentive, accurate, and hospital-level care. Working in skilled nursing facilities, you’ll maintain a safe and productive environment where patients’ needs are fully met. You’ll also assist with complex cases and jump in to help your team as needed.
