Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. This full-time role (5 days/week) involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support and onboarding.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated annual range of $119,584 to $141,501 and no cap on productivity income. You will provide high-quality care to diverse patients, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and

Qualifications

• Active TN NP or PA license and DEA registration.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
