Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This part-time role (2 days/week) involves rounding in a skilled nursing facility with strong support, training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an annual range of $47,489 to $56,987 and no cap on productivity income. You'll deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Tennessee NP/PA license and DEA registration required.
• Experience in post-acute/acute/ED/clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team-based approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
