Position Summary

As the Associate Director of Commercial Insights, you will play a key role in driving our company’s strategic decision-making process by providing valuable data-driven insights and reporting. You will lead processes to collect, analyze and interpret client and media partner billing data and support transformation efforts to improve data accuracy and create efficiencies through automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and an understanding of the media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies and best practices to ensure the collection, storage, and utilization of high-quality client billing data
  • Establish governance practices to maintain forecast accuracy and a “single source of truth” for participating billings and forecasts

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership and guide decision-making

Commercial Insights

  • Develop a deep understanding of Orion financial objectives and measure performance through analysis
  • Collaborate with EVP, Commercial Strategy, Orion Client Strategy and Orion Supply teams to identify opportunities for upselling and growth
  • Identify trends that will impact Orion performance and shape future strategies and objectives

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in related roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Tableau or any other dashboard & data visualization tools
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Prior experience establishing and implementing new process flows
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts at varying levels (from superficial to detailed) to suit the audience
  • Proven problem solving ability

The salary range for this position is posted below.
