Job summary
Apple Inc. is seeking an exceptional position sensing systems engineer within the Camera Systems group to lead the design and validation of sensing hardware for Apple products.
You will research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera sensing features across project teams to deliver high-performance imaging technologies. Qualifications
- B.S. in EE, ECE, Engineering Physics, or similar with ≥3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with magnetic or optical sensing systems.
- Experience with mixed-signal electronics and/or signal processing.
- Experience with measurement science, calibration, or physical modeling.
- Experience with MATLAB or Python.
Responsibilities
- Define position sensing system architectures, use-case requirements, specifications, and validation criteria and document in Engineering Requirements Specifications.
- Design and model position sensing systems behaviorally to predict performance across nominal, sensitivity, and Monte-Carlo analyses.
- Perform/champion sensing system engineering validation with partner teams.
- Contribute to development, implementation, and maintenance of test and calibration codebase for sensing systems.
