Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking CDL-A shuttle drivers to run local routes based in Detroit, MI. Home daily with a union position and steady freight. 1st shift is 5 am to 2:30 pm, light touch freight, 2–3 runs per day, with 8–9 hour days and overtime after 40 hours.

Pay starts at $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience, $22.50/hour for experienced drivers, and $24.25/hour after 1 year. Terminal located at 14250 Plymouth Rd, Detroit.

Qualificações

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record with strong safety history.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed – Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Terminal Location: 14250 Plymouth Rd Detroit, MI

Pay: $22.50/hour experienced drivers $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience After 1 year jumps to $24.25/hour

Position Details

Local shuttle routes (home daily)

1st shift opening 5 am - 2:30 pm

Light touch freight (not loading and unloading but will involve chaining or strapping up loads that drivers are held accountable for)

2–3 runs per day between terminal and customer locations

Consistent 8–9 hour workdays OT after 40 hours (5-10 hours usually for 5 day work week. more if a 6th day is offered)

Stable, year-round work

Union position (Teamsters Local 299)

Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months

Responsibilities
