Job summary

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is hiring CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. Earn $21.00–$24.25 per hour with annual increases; home daily, light touch freight, 8–9 hour days, OT after 40 hours, in a union role (Teamsters Local 299).

Training via T2T may apply for recent grads. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, minimum age 21, clean driving record, and ability to meet DOT standards.

Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed – Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Terminal Location: 14250 Plymouth Rd Detroit, MI

Pay: $22.50/hour experienced drivers $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience After 1 year jumps to $24.25/hour

Position Details: Local shuttle routes (home daily) Light touch freight (not loading and unloading but will involve chaining or strapping up loads that drivers are held accountable for) 2–3 runs per day between terminal and customer locations Consistent 8–9 hour workdays OT after 40 hours (5-10 hours usually for 5 day work week. more if a 6th day is offered) Stable, year-round work Union position (Teamsters Local 299) Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months
