Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. in Detroit is seeking CDL-A shuttle drivers for local routes with daily home time. Positions are union-backed (Teamsters Local 299) and involve light touch freight, with 2–3 runs per day between the terminal and customer locations.

Pay starts at $21.00/hour for 0–1 year experience, increases to $22.50/hour for experienced drivers, and advances to $24.25/hour after 1 year. OT is available after 40 hours. Training is available and safety is emphasized.

Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed – Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Terminal Location: 14250 Plymouth Rd Detroit, MI

Pay: $22.50/hour experienced drivers $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience After 1 year jumps to $24.25/hour

Position Details: Local shuttle routes (home daily) Light touch freight (not loading and unloading but will involve chaining or strapping up loads that drivers are held accountable for) 2–3 runs per day between terminal and customer locations Consistent 8–9 hour workdays OT after 40 hours (5-10 hours usually for 5 day work week. more if a 6th day is offered) Stable, year-round work Union position (Teamsters Local 299) Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months
