Job summary

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator to join our New York team. You will own the PI system infrastructure, ensuring reliable data collection, processing, and visualization for critical industrial assets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PI administration experience, strong knowledge of PI Data Archive, AF, Vision, and interfaces, plus Windows/SQL expertise. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on OSIsoft PI/AVEVA PI administration.
• Proficiency with PI Data Archive, AF, Vision, Integrator, and Web API.
• Experience with PI interfaces and OPC/DA/UA connectivity.
• Strong OT knowledge and Windows Server, SQL Server, networking.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain PI System infrastructure.
• Monitor PI server performance and ensure high availability.

• Develop PI AF structures, templates, analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System infrastructure including PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision
• Monitor PI server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of the PI environment
• Manage PI interfaces, connectors, and data integrations across operational and enterprise systems
• Develop and maintain PI Asset Framework (PI AF) structures, templates, and analytics
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to support data collection, reporting, and visualization needs
• Implement security protocols, user access controls, and compliance standards within the PI ecosystem
• Lead system upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing operational disruption
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and end users

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI systems
• Proficiency with PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, PI Integrator, and PI Web API
• Experience with PI interface configuration and OPC/DA/UA connectivity
• Strong understanding of industrial data historian concepts and operational technology (OT) environments
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration, SQL Server, and networking fundamentals
• AVEVA PI System certification(s) preferred
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
