TechDigital Group seeks a Senior Aveva OSI PI Engineer for a site-based project in the New Jersey area. You will apply deep expertise in Aveva PI Data Historian systems, PI AF Analytics, and PI Event Frames to support process analysis in the pharmaceutical domain.

The ideal candidate has extensive software engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities to work with clients on system validation, qualification, and sustaining support.

Qualificações

• Sr Eng with Life Science domain experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Extensive background in Aveva PI Data Historian Systems and related PI tools.
• Strong software engineering background with systems analysis in pharma.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analysis of User Requirements Specification Documents
• Support development of the Detail Design specifications and system architectures
• Development of PI Tags, AF templates and AF Analyses, PI Event Frames
• Development of PI Graphic User Interface / Visuals
• Support Software development, testing, commissioning and qualification
• Ability to provide first line PI sustaining support
• Support the execution of system changes and optimisation under site change control

About the role:

We are looking for an Senior Aveva OSI PI Engineer to join our OSI team for a site-based project in New Jersey area. The Senior OSIsoft PI Software Engineer needs to have an in-depth experience of Aveva PI Data Historian Systems, Control Systems and Process Analysis. The successful candidate should have an extensive background in Software Engineering with experience in systems analysis and software development within the pharmaceutical industry. They should be highly motivated, an innovative thinker and self-starter, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of User Requirements Specification Documents
• Support development of the Detail Design specifications and system architectures
• Development of PI Tags, Asset Framework (AF) templates and AF Analyses, PI Event Frames
• Development of PI Graphic User Interface / Visuals
• Support Software development, testing, commissioning and qualification
• Ability to provide first line PI sustaining support
• Support the execution of system changes and optimisation under site change control
• Aveva PI System Qualification Execution

Job Functions

• Solid understanding of the Aveva / OSIsoft PI system
• Experience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Server and interfaces (OPC, UFL, RDBMS, PItoPI).
• Experience using the PI client tools including PI Vision, DataLink and PI RtReports
• Experience implementing analytic solutions with PI Asset Framework, PI AF Analytics, and Performance Equations
• Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentals
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving difficult problems.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills
• Team oriented, but self-sufficient
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing rapport

Non-essential Job Functions

• Software development experience in .NET using disciplined coding and testing regiments.
• Experience writing software applications and web services using PI-SDK and AF-SDK
• Experience installing and configuring web-based applications.
