Job summary

The BD Fillroom operator works in a clean room to produce Posiflush syringes by overseeing the machine, performing quality checks, and maintaining GMP standards. You will read and write in English and collaborate with team members to ensure output meets required quality and rate.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, monitoring quality, performing changeovers, assisting with repairs, and maintaining a neat, compliant work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• In lieu of HS diploma, three years manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment at or above established standards while ensuring GMP.
• Monitor product quality and equipment performance.
• Adjust equipment to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Support line technicians with repairs or troubleshooting.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow GMP.
• Record data accurately and perform quality inspections.
• Communicate material needs with scheduling to minimize inventory.
• Collaborate with team to optimize tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Summary:

The Fillroom operator will work in a clean room and produce Posiflush syringes by overseeing their machine, doing quality checks, cleaning their area and working together with the team to manufacture quality product at the specified rate. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards.

• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance

• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.

• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.

• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting.

• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements.

• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.

• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.

• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods.

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

• In lieu of High School diploma/GED,threeyears manufacturing experience is required
