Job summary

BD in Columbus, NE is seeking a Fillroom operator to work in a clean room environment, supervising syringe production lines, performing quality checks, and maintaining GMP standards. Responsibilities

• Operate equipment at or above established standards while maintaining GMP and quality.
• Monitor product quality and equipment performance throughout shift.
• Make adjustments to equipment to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or troubleshooting.
• Keep machinery, work area, and floors clean and orderly; follow GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections and record data accurately.
• Coordinate with utilities or scheduling to maintain material levels.
• Work as a team to develop efficient task methods.
• Perform other duties to support BD operations.

Shift details: A Shift 6am-6pm

Position Summary

The Fillroom operator will work in a clean room and produce Posiflush syringes by overseeing their machine, doing quality checks, cleaning their area and working together with the team to manufacture quality product at the specified rate. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• In lieu of High School Diploma, GED with (3) years of manufacturing experience is required
