Job summary

Becton Dickinson in Columbus, NE is seeking a PosiFlush Production Operator to produce quality PosiFlush syringes on the assigned line, ensuring compliance with GMP and BD quality systems.

You will work on D shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, participate in line changeovers, perform quality checks, document data, and collaborate with team members to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience required.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Assignments may be in ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak.
• Continuously monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Make adjustments to equipment to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Record data accurately as required and maintain clean work areas.

Job Description The PosiFlush Production Operator produces quality PosiFlush syringes at the rate or goal set for each line while working as a team with other operators while keeping area and machines clean. They will complete quality checks on at the frequency needed. Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read, write, and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values. Schedule: D shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Duties/Responsibilities Assignments may be in ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance. Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity. Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers. Assist line technicians or setter/operators with equipment repair or trouble shooting. Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements. Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required. Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels. Work as team member to develop optimal task methods. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
