Job summary

Oracle Symphony in Bethesda, MD, is seeking an expert Integration Developer to build and maintain RESTful API integrations for a cloud-based POS modernization. You will work with Simphony STS Gen 2 REST APIs, C#, Azure Functions, SQL, and JSON to enable real-time ordering, payment, and menu synchronization across a high-volume enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years hands-on with Oracle MICROS Simphony STS Gen 2 REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of POS systems and enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Simphony hierarchy, revenue centers, menu item classes, and multi-tender configurations.
• Professional experience with C# and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and serverless architecture.
• Strong SQL experience, including relational database design and query development.
• Strong experience with JSON, RESTful architecture, and API development.
• Experience with OIDC token management and secure API authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API integrations between digital ordering platforms and Oracle MICROS Simphony POS systems.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy STS Gen 1 integrations to Simphony STS Gen 2.
• Build scalable checkout, payment, and real‑time order processing workflows.
• Automate menu synchronization between POS systems and customer-facing ordering platforms.
• Develop backend services using C# and Azure Functions within a serverless architecture.
• Work with relational databases using SQL to support data movement, integration logic, and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot integration issues related to orders, payments, menu data, tender types, and POS configurations.
• Support integrations across mobile ordering, kiosk, web, and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable integration solutions.
