Job summary

The Developer on the IT Deployment Team will design, build, and maintain software powering the store network, primarily in Python and Angular. You will work with Business Analysts and Deployment specialists to deploy to new stores, support rollouts, and improve tools and integrations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience and QA.
• Proficiency in Python for back-end development and scripting.
• Experience with Angular for building responsive single-page applications.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based back-end services and APIs for the POS platform and deployment goals.
• Maintain and support Angular front-end applications used by store teams and internal staff.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate store workflow requirements into software solutions.
• Support rollouts to new stores and ensure installations of software, infrastructure, and databases are successful.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by stores or deployment team members.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Build and maintain Jenkins jobs for deployment, log retrieval, and analysis.
