Job summary

AAP is seeking an NSO IT System Build Specialist to oversee all technical aspects of store system builds for new stores, relocations, and POS conversions. You will coordinate with on-site technicians and store teams during build, test, and opening, with light regional travel expected.

The role focuses on installation, configuration, testing and daily operations of POS systems and related applications, collaborating with internal and remote partners to ensure store functionality.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Windows Server OS as application platform.
• Understanding of network circuits, IP addressing, routers and switches.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based peripherals and devices.
• Knowledge of information security concepts and tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
• Detail oriented with ability to track multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical aspects of store system builds for new stores, relocations, and POS changes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to on-site install technicians and store teams.
• Monitor progress of system builds and network connections using appropriate tools.
• Track and manage risks and issues; escalate when necessary.
• Lead depot (remote) system builds, depot testing, and on-site setup and testing.
• Contribute to status reports, post-hypercare debriefs, and handoff documents.
