Job summary

Middlebury College's Summer Portuguese School seeks a temporary Instructor of Portuguese for the 2021 session. The position can be in-person on the Bennington College campus in Vermont or remote, depending on arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Portuguese as a second language in the U.S.
• Experience teaching Portuguese Linguistics or Portuguese Literature (Brazilian/Portuguese/African)
• Ability to teach cultural/interdisciplinary modules (music, poetry, arts, politics, history, Business Portuguese, African heritage, Cultural Studies of Portuguese Africa)

Responsibilities

• Teach Portuguese in a 7-week summer program.
