We are hiring PCA/Home Health Aides/Caregivers to work one-on-one with our in-home patients in Shelton, CT and the surrounding area. Monday-Saturday shifts available. Bilingual in Portuguese and English preferred!

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when required.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, transfer of patients, and toileting.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
