Job summary

SYNERGY Home Care of Clifton-Secaucus is seeking a compassionate, Portuguese or Spanish-speaking caregiver to join our team and provide high-quality care and companionship to clients in their homes. Schedule is 12pm–4pm (Mon–Fri) with weekend shifts; we offer competitive pay, paid orientation, flexible schedules, overtime and holiday pay, and a supportive office team across Hudson County.

Active HHA or CNA certification is preferred; bilingual ability in Portuguese or Spanish with English is

• Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish and English.
• Active HHA or CNA certification preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Reliable transportation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (as needed)
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or activities when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and office staff
• Deliver reliable, compassionate care while maintaining professionalism

We are currently seeking an Portuguese or Spanish-speaking caregiver to join our growing team and provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients.

Schedule:

12pm - 4pm (Mon- Friday)

Weekends (Sat/Sun)

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (as needed)
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or activities when appropriate
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and office staff
• Deliver reliable, compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
