Innodata India is seeking a Portuguese Language Specialist for a 2-month contractual role (full-time) with remote work from India. You will support AI/LLM training by evaluating Portuguese content, improving linguistic accuracy, and creating datasets.

Collaboration with global teams and adherence to guidelines are required. The role emphasizes high-quality linguistic evaluation, attention to detail, and comfort with AI/NLP-related tasks.

Formación

• Native-level or near-native fluency in Portuguese (reading, writing, speaking).
• Good command of English for evaluation tasks.
• Advanced Portuguese language certification required.
• Willingness to complete language assessments during hiring.
• Capable of achieving professional-level scores in assessments.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Prior experience in translation, localization, annotation, or language evaluation preferred.
• Interest or experience in AI/NLP/LLM projects is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and review AI-generated prompts, responses, and conversations in Portuguese and English.
• Assess content for grammar, fluency, factual accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance.
• Provide detailed feedback and quality ratings to improve AI model performance.
• Create, edit, and refine linguistic datasets for AI training.
• Identify linguistic errors, cultural inconsistencies, and biases in AI outputs.
• Collaborate with global AI teams, linguists, and researchers on language-focused projects.
• Follow annotation and evaluation guidelines while contributing process improvement ideas.
• Ensure natural, professional, and culturally appropriate language usage across tasks.
