Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Technician to support booster processing at the Port of Long Beach. The role involves outdoor, hands-on work with Falcon 9 first stage boosters, following flight hardware instructions and ensuring safe transfer to refurb teams.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of hands-on technician experience, with preferred Airframe & Powerplant license and strong communication skills. Willingness to work all shifts and travel to SpaceX sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace/aviation/automotive/production/manufacturing/oil & gas OR a certificate from an accredited trades program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain ground support equipment for booster lifting/transit.
• Perform high‑pressure operations on powered and unpowered boosters.
• Carry out large‑scale, critical lifts involving flight hardware.
• Proficiently use mechanical tools and heavy machinery.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from drawings.
• Complete site preventative maintenance per asset management system.
• Collaborate with engineers to reduce takt times and improve repeatability.
• Adapt quickly to changing roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Support coordinated launch vehicle movements and ground operations.
• Assist with dockside recovery vessel maintenance as needed.
