JCPenney Portraits in Waterbury, CT is seeking a full-time Studio Manager to lead the portrait studio team and operations. You will ensure excellent customer service during the photo and sales process and drive scheduling, hiring, training, and photography workflows.

The role emphasizes team leadership, performance coaching, and achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets while maintaining flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory/retail/sales/photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied schedule including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with children and adults.
• Strong math and intermediate computer skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable customer service throughout the photographic, sale, and delivery experience.
• Follow established operational processes for scheduling, hiring, training, selling, and photography.
• Manage performance and develop the skills of Team Members.
• Accountable for the studio’s ability to achieve results (sales average, customer satisfaction).
