Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Portland, Oregon area. This role focuses on calling on distributor representatives and veterinarians to promote Nutramax veterinary products and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have veterinary industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office is required, and travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Veterinary manufacturer/animal health industry experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Ride with and provide product and technical training to distributor representatives.
• Assist with the launch of new products by ensuring call centers are trained and have materials.
• Visit veterinarian offices to sell products by providing information, samples, and lunch and learn seminars.
• Communicate with distributor representatives and schedule dinner meetings.
• Work with Technical Service Veterinarian to schedule meetings with staff at veterinary schools and host lectures.
• Visit veterinary schools to keep them apprised of pricing and new products.
• Manage a yearly budget including marketing activities.
• Provide timely reports to the home office with industry insights and competitor information.
• Perform other duties to meet company objectives.
• Communicate with other departments and work in a team environment.
