Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Portland, Oregon. The role requires 2+ years in Cath Lab/IR/Hybrid OR, ARRT (R) and BLS, and Epic charting experience. Start date is 11/09/2026 with 40 hours per week, 4x10s, dayshift, weekend coverage.

The assignment takes place in a Cardiac Cath Lab within Interventional Radiology, with potential to float, and requires full COVID vaccination and references. Transportation and housing stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR.
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required.
• Epic charting experience required for consideration.
• License required if applicable.
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted.
• Must provide two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months (charge RN references not accepted).
• Must provide seven years of verifiable work history including city, state, dates of employment, and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup, prepping access sites, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and serving as room circulator.
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Works with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience.
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate.
• No radius restriction for local candidates.
• RTO must be submitted upfront and limited to no more than 2 weeks.
• Former OHSU employees or travelers must have a 6+ month gap before returning.
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation.
