Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Adjunct Nursing Faculty (RN) to teach and mentor nursing students in didactic and clinical settings in Portland, OR. This contract position supports course objectives, guides clinical judgment, and ensures nursing practice standards are met under the direction of the Dean.

The role requires a current RN license (state of practice), a master's degree preferred, and active CPR certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Education preferred.
• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, supervision, and guidance to nursing students throughout the didactic and clinical components.
• Support students in achieving course objectives and developing the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment necessary for nursing practice.
• Work under the direction of the Dean or Assistant Dean to ensure program goals are met.
