Concordia University St. Paul—Portland, OR is seeking a Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor to oversee student rotations in the ABSN program.

As a Clinical Adjunct Instructor, you will facilitate learning in the clinical setting, guide students on professionalism, practice, and evidence-based care, and coordinate with partner facilities to ensure quality clinical experiences. Shifts are 8–12 hours, with active participation in orientation and faculty meetings.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon/Washington.
• Two years of successful clinical nursing practice.
• Enrolled in Master's (nursing) with anticipated completion in the next 12 months or less.
• Able to work 8-12 hour shifts in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide adequate guidance for students in the clinical setting related to professionalism, practice, and research.
• Selects and organizes learning activities which facilitate the student's attainment of the course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Provide a supportive learning environment by providing feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with other faculty, administration as and with the healthcare partner and its staff.
• Attend all required orientation, training and faculty meetings.
