Job summary

RiverPlace Hotel in Portland, OR seeks a Managing Director to oversee hotel operations and luxury assets, including a winery and new luxury guest suites. You will lead the collection's executive committee and drive operational excellence to deliver distinctive service and strong owner returns.

You will guide market positioning, forecast-driven planning, and a guest- and people-centric culture that embodies CoralTree Hospitality’s values and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hotel operations in an executive leadership role.
• Degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or similar, preferred.
• Luxury hotel opening/renovation experience preferred.
• Experience with project management and independent group properties.

Responsibilities

• Champion operational excellence and financial performance to deliver owner returns.
• Oversee hotel assets plus winery and luxury suites.
• Lead market positioning and differentiate the property in regional markets.
• Develop and execute plans to meet forecasting and profit targets.
• Deliver extraordinary guest and team experiences consistent with CoralTree standards.
• Represent the property with the community and industry partners.
• Foster talent, culture, and leadership development across the team.
• Ensure safety and governance through strong internal controls.
