The Assistant Branch Manager at ADP, Inc. will assist in daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and customer service while guiding a small team under the Branch Manager.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial counter sales and warehouse management, forklift experience, and a proactive approach to efficiency, accuracy, and safety across branch activities to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience selling in an industrial counter sales environment.
• 2+ years of warehouse functions & management.
• Ability to process point-of-sale transactions, quotes, and returns.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsabilités

• Seamlessly step into any jobs in the branch to support the Branch Manager.
• Support daily operations by performing necessary functions: inventory control, receiving, shipping, customer service, product sales and deliveries.
• Account Management: grow sales within an assigned account base and develop relationships with dealers and prospects.
• Maintain branch standards by following procedures and resolving operational challenges.
• Perform end of day tasks including warehouse queues, manifest closing, and UPS loading.
• Assist customers with information, purchases, and merchandise preparation for pickup/delivery.
• Assist inventory through cycle counts and collaboration with Purchasing to reduce excess inventory and dead stock.
• Support and sell products; participate in training and engage reps to answer product questions.
• Maintain alignment with corporate operations by documenting actions and needs.
• Manage, train and supervise branch employees with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain a safe and clean retail location and attend safety meetings.
• Update knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networks.
• Assist in opening & closing processes.
