Are you an experienced Commercial Underwriter who has oversight of MGAs, MGUs, and/or delegated underwriting authority looking for a high-impact role with a forward-thinking specialty carrier? We’re seeking a Portfolio Underwriting Manager to lead and grow both property and casualty insurance programs.

This is a remote opportunity to work with an A.M. Best-rated surplus lines carrier, shaping innovative insurance solutions in a data-driven, niche marketplace.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead program management & portfolio strategy
2. Identify market gaps and develop new program opportunities
3. Oversee delegated authority relationships and underwriting guidelines
4. Monitor exposure & portfolio performance metrics
5. Collaborate with actuarial, reinsurance, and analytics teams to drive profitable growth

What We’re Looking For:

1. 5+ years of commercial property or commercial casualty underwriting experience
2. Expertise in both E&S and admitted markets
3. Background in product development & program business
4. Experience with digital underwriting platforms & automation
5. Strong understanding of segmentation, pricing, and exposure management
