Job summary

FL Putnam Investment Management seeks a Portfolio Analyst to manage trading processes, collaborate with the investment team, and improve trade workflows. You will execute trades across custodians with Portfolio Managers and Advisors, resolve post-trade issues, and help rebalance portfolios to stay aligned with objectives.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years of trading experience; CFA designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, economics or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred CFA designation or progress toward CFA designation.
• 1–3 years of trading experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.
• Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Executes and allocates trades across custodians in collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Advisors.
• Completes post-trade issue resolution to ensure smooth processing.
• Monitors portfolio drift and periodically rebalances to align with objectives.
• Processes ongoing tax loss harvesting activities.
• Assists Investment Advisors with transitioning accounts to internal models.
• Contributes to business development by creating synthetic portfolios from prospect statements.
• Adheres to guidelines set by the Implementation Committee.
• Coordinates internal actions across multiple teams to optimize workflows.
• Supports the Portfolio Analysis Team to improve processes and efficiency.
