Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead the new product portfolio across brands, channels and business units. You will own portfolio systems (Planview and related databases), deliver accurate reporting, and develop KPI dashboards and executive analyses to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Finance and Operations, you will drive adoption of Stage-Gate processes, train teams, and identify opportunities to improve portfolio management and innovation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, project management, business analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience managing portfolio or reporting systems; proficient in Excel, Power BI, Access, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and reporting of the new product portfolio, providing insights and recommendations.
• Own portfolio systems and data (Planview and databases) for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reports to measure portfolio performance across brands and business units.
• Partner with stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations for portfolio updates and planning.
• Drive adoption and improvement of New Product Development and Stage-Gate processes through training and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management and innovation processes.
