Job summary

Trustly is seeking a Portfolio Risk Leader for a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York. You will own the loss and approval outcomes across consumer and merchant segments, balancing risk with growth and partnering with Risk Data Science, Risk Product and Risk Engineering.

You will lead risk discussions with customers and executives, set rules and thresholds, and collaborate on pricing inputs and risk governance while building a capable team across segment risk management, risk operations

Qualifications

12+ years in payments, lending or banking risk.
Experience leading teams across multiple functions.
Experience setting rules and thresholds in real-time decisioning.
Merchant underwriting depth: KYB, exposure modeling, risk tiers.
Ability to present risk positions to executives and customers.

Responsibilities

Own loss and approval outcomes across segments and risk products.
Set underwriting standards and risk thresholds for the engine.
Lead risk discussions with customers and senior stakeholders.
Build and develop the team across segment risk management, risk operations and compliance.
Partner with Risk Data Science, Risk Product and Risk Engineering for model integration.
