Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a research associate to support Financial Advisors by analyzing portfolio analytics, asset allocation, and investment holdings across client portfolios. You will prepare industry and company research, write investment-related reports, and maintain financial models.

The role involves regular interaction with internal and external customers and a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities to contribute to investment strategy white papers for Advisors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years in financial services with emphasis on market research and analysis.
• Licenses required: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, 65 and/or 66 as required by state.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training as approved by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Collects fundamental research on related companies as requested by Financial Advisors.
• Uses analytical tools and methodologies to research investment products and portfolio allocations.
• Assists in development of financial models for revenue and income forecasts.
• Prepares customized written industry and company specific reports upon request.
